Where Cleaning Meets Engineering

Technical industrial dry ice cleaning.

Where traditional cleaning stops, CRYOX begins.

DRY ICE CLEANING FOR INDUSTRIAL INSTALLATIONS WITHOUT WATER OR DAMAGE.

Minimal downtime. Safe for sensitive and electrical systems.

How does dry ice cleaning work?

Dry ice cleaning uses solid CO₂ particles that are directed at the surface under high pressure.
On impact, the dry ice particles remove contamination through a combination of kinetic energy and thermal shock, without damaging the underlying material. The dry ice sublimates immediately, leaving no water or residue behind.

Continuity and safety leave no room for errors.

Traditional cleaning methods often create unnecessary risk, disruption, and operational impact.
Production downtime
Unplanned downtime leads to production loss and increased costs.
Surface damage
Abrasive techniques can damage sensitive surfaces and components.
Dismantling
Cleaning often requires dismantling, which leads to time loss and additional risk.
Water or chemicals
Not every installation allows for wet or chemical cleaning.
Secondary contamination
Blasting can leave residue or create additional waste.
Sensitive components
Vulnerable parts require a non-abrasive and controlled approach.

CRYOX is your technical partner for industrial dry ice cleaning.

Every cleaning job is approached as a technical process, with a focus on safety, minimal downtime, and controlled execution.

STEP 1

Analysis & Risk Assessment

Technical evaluation of the installation, contamination, and environment before start-up. If needed, a test zone is carried out to validate parameters and suitability.

STEP 2

Safety Alignment

Alignment with site procedures, LMRA, and applicable safety guidelines. Cleaning is carried out in accordance with the required safety standards and working conditions.

STEP 3

Execution

Pressure, pellet size, and parameters are adjusted to the installation and application. Targeted cleaning with a focus on control, precision, and minimal impact.

STEP 4

Restart

Minimal dismantling and controlled delivery. Installations are safely and carefully brought back into operation.

SECTORS

Built for critical production environments

CRYOX operates exclusively in production environments where safety, precision, and continuity are essential.
  • Petrochemicals & Chemicals

Cleaning of installations, piping, and components with a focus on safety and minimal downtime. Suitable for environments where moisture or chemicals are not allowed.

  • Energy & High Voltage

Cleaning of electrical installations without moisture or conductive residue. Applied to switch cabinets, turbines, and critical systems.

  • Pharmaceutical Production

Non-abrasive cleaning of sensitive installations and production lines. No residue and no risk of contamination.

Efficient removal of contamination without water or chemical products. Suitable for production environments with strict hygiene requirements.

  • Plastics & Injection Moulding

Cleaning of moulds and tooling without dismantling. Preserves surface quality and supports optimal production cycles.

  • Printing & Industrial Printing

Removal of ink, dust, and residue from sensitive components. No damage to surfaces or precision parts.

  • General Industry

Broadly applicable to mechanical parts, production lines, and installations. For applications where traditional methods fall short.

Not sure whether your application is suitable?

We assess this in advance based on the installation, contamination, and risk.

Built on hands-on experience in critical industrial environments

CRYOX was founded on hands-on experience in petrochemical and offshore environments — settings where safety, preparation, and control are not optional, but essential.
We approach industrial cleaning with that same discipline: minimal dismantling, controlled execution, and full respect for production processes.
Technically grounded approach, not standard interventions
Clear preparation and controlled execut
Focus on long-term collaboration and reliability
Not standard cleaning, but a controlled technical process.
